8 Days Tour From Marrakech To Desert

Day 1: Marrakech

From the airport, our driver will pick you up from the airport, to transfer you to the Riad you will be staying at for today; at evening after restoring and showering, you will meet our professional staff thet will accompain you through this wonderful journey .

Day 2: Marrakech – Tizi n Tichka pass – Ouarzazatte – Dades Gorges

Our departure is going to be from Marrakech , crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass that links the south-east with Marrakech; offering you the best view over the high Atlas mountains and, their landscapes .

On the way we will stop by the Draa province, where you enjoy lunch and, stroll around the infinite charming  palm groves that this site contains.

Eventually arrivig at  Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night at a hotel, with a traditional dish at dinner.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga desert

In the morning, our guide will take you in special to tour, to discover the bautiful city of Ouarzazate; where you will visit the one of the biggest film studios around the world, with sets from all over the world the “Atlas studios”. Afterwards we will visit one of the most fascinating monuments that Morocco’s contains; with its unique structure and a narrow enterance doorway in the front. A porwerful cal that waas owned in the heydays by the Lord of Atlas “Pacha El Glaoui”.   

Simultanously, we will take you around one of the lost spectacular canyons around the world , the Dades and Todgha gorges beautifully carved with the Dades river.

Eventually , when arrived at the charming town of Merzouga, you will leave all your unecessary baggage in a hotel near the dunes, so you can dive into a unique adventure through the sandy golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, in top of camels ; climbing the highest dune in North Africa, to watch the loving sunset.

Afterwards, you will arrive at our traditional camp, where you will be welcomed by a cup of mint tea, while watching a berber music show; then you  will get served a local dish for dinner .

Day 4 : Merzouga desert

In the morning , we prepared for you a special adventure switching to our 4×4, we will discover the impressive area of Erg Chebbi; visiting the Dayet Serji lake that attracs flocks of Flamingo and, next the volcanic area near the Yasmina auberge; afterwards you will visit the village of Khamilea , a place inhabited by the Gnawa tribes , that you will enjoy listening to their unique music style; also we will visit a nomadic family, that will welcome you to rnjoy a cup of tea with them and, know more about their daily lives.

Eventually you will draw your back through the dunes by camels; to reach our camp where you will enjoy dinner and, overnight.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

if you came to Erg Chebbi and you didn’t witness the breath-taking sunrise, you trip is considered pointless; that’s why our guide will make sure to wake you up early so you don’t miss it ; then return by camels to the hotel, where you can  shower and relax.

After restoring , we will leave behind the rocky nature and landscapes, and move back to middle Atlas crossoing the Tizi n”Talghamt mountain pass the second major pass in Morocco, from where you will visit the city of “Midelt “, the  agricultural hinterland. Passing by Ziz Valley and,  Errachidia. Crossing   the Cedar forests of the beautiful Azrou and,  the Switzerland of Morocco the unique Ifrane.

Eventually, arriving at the Mecca of the west, the cultural capital of the country , the city of Fes, where you will be staying at a hotel in the old medina with dinner included.

Day 6 : Fes guided tour

Since Fes is known around Morococo as the cultural and, scientific capital of the country; our guide will take you around Fes”s unique monuments; starting with the palette look alike , the Tanneries where the carpets get colored and, done. Afterwards you will visit the marvelous mosque and, the oldest university in the world “El Quaraouine”,with its beautiful decoration of the traditional Zelij.

Lunch will be in a restaurant in the old meedina; then we will resume our tour, by visiting the Bab boujloud, the main gate that gives you access to the ancient medina; then you will visit the Madrasa bou Inania and, the mausoleum of Ennajarin.

Fianlly, you will enjoy a panoramic view over the old medina from the Mrinids tombs.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

From Fes, after breakfast , we will leave the city to head over to a special destination for today “Casablanca”, passing by Morocco’s capital city “Rabat”, where ou will visit first the majestic tower of Hassan II the minara of an incomplete mosque and, the mausoleum of the Mohamed V where the king’s father and grandfathe are buried.

Simultanously, the old walled medina and its souq, is going to be our next location where you will have the oppurtunity to stroll around and enjoy the historical side of it. Afterwards, you will visit the old Kasbah of Oudayas. Lunch will be in a restaurant in front of the charming river of Bou Regreg.

Later in the day we’ll drive to , “Casablanca “, the commercial capital, and the largest city of Morocco. Where you are going to visit, the majestic fifth largest mosque in the world with its unique combination of Andalusian and, Moroccan architecture decoration, with its world’s most tallest minaret. Standing partly over the water. Also the great monument of Houbous.

At evening you will refresh by the sea-side cornich.

Day 8 : Casablanca – Marrakech

After breakfast,we will drive back to the red city “Marrakech”, where unfortunately our wonderful 8 days tour , will end.
