Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka Mountain Pass – Ouarzazate – Zagora

From Marrakech our satff will pick  you up from your accomodation, to start with us our two days trip to the Moroccan desert , passing by some impressive locations; After breakfast we will leave  the red city, crossing the Major highest pass in north Africa the Tizi n’Tichka pass ; to arrive at the Gates to the desesrt , the charming city of Ouarzazate also nicknamed the “Hollywood of Africa”, home of the biggest movie studios in the world  the  “Atlas studios”, with its large universal sets such as Egypt , Athens etc; that many universal movies where filmed at , such as “Asterix and Abelix”, “Babel” and so on.

Lunch is programmed after the tour, to be served  at  a local restaurant in the area.

After lunch , we will head to Draa Valley long and so big valley of palmer tress crossing the second highest pass in Morocco “Tizi N’Tnifift” with  1710m and,  Ait Saoun village, by the former road of caravans and, Sahara traders that were coming from “Tombouktou”. We will stop by Draa Valley to admire the beauty of this place,  a carpet of oases as far as the eye can see , formed by a narrow ribbon of water from the High Atlas. After aquiet stay we will continue our way to our final destination for today.

Eventually, arriving at Zagora and in this town a great adventure is waiting for you,

In order to live like an ancient  traveler in the desert, and appreciate the nomadic style, a camel ride in Zagora is the way to it, camels will take you in a memorable experience with our guide, admiring the golden loose dunes of the area and , enjoying the sunset that makes the mood even more appreciable.

Till we acces our well equipped nomadic  camp,  a traditional dinner will be waiting for you, with some of the local music around the camp fire.

A relaxing night under the milky sky of Zagora will be all for today.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Before breakfast, it is highly suggested to wake up early so you can witness one of the most beautiful yet spectacular sunrises that you can ever see,

You will enjoy a traditional breakfast in front of the beauty of the Sahara, Afterwards we will switch back to our vehicles so we can resume our expedition together ; our Next location will be the world Heritage site the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou,  this place belongs to one of the most important families between the 16th and 17 th century in Morocco, “the Glaoui’s family” ; and a place that attracted many film makers with its striking architecture , that  he couldn’t get away without taking a part in their movies such as ” the mummy “. A lunch is planned for you to enjoy it in this historical area.

Afterwards we continue towards the historical Kasbah of Telouet, located in a fertile valley, up in the hill, The Kasbah stands alone with its original zellij tile decorated with the Jewish Star of David, preserved silks and grand remnants of the El Pacha Glaoui family.

By a scenic road, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass, full of spectacular views, our tour continues to the red city Marrakech, where we will transfer you to your accommodation, where unfortunately our unforgettable experience ends .
